The South Coast Recovery Centre Outreach Team has been in operation since 2005.
Gratitude is an inseparable key to a successful recovery process. We strongly encourage our residents to participate in our varied outreach opportunities as it develops a profound sense of humility and gratitude.

The objective of the outreach team is to spread the word of God and testify to the works that he has done in our lives, thereby encouraging others and showing that it doesn't matter who you are or where you've been – you can be totally free. All you have to do is claim your salvation.
We do this by reaching out to organisations such as schools, AIDS orphanages, old age homes, churches, and the like, whilst communicating with them in a medium they can relate to, e.g. music, arts, dance, speech and drama, testimony and social activities.
We are prepared to do whatever it takes to get them to see the light of Christ in us and to impact their lives in a positive way by educating them about drugs and abuse.
Alongside the outreaches to the local community and organisations, SCRC endeavours to reach out to impoverished communities in outlying areas to which access is limited. We strive to affect one of these outreaches annually. SCRC has successfully performed outreaches to: Lesotho, Mozambique, Zululand, Matatiele, and the Transkei.
