Substance Abuse Pictures Of Celebrities

Probably the best known substance abuse pictures on the internet are of Amy Winehouse and Britney Spears at the beginning of last year.

Many people express sadness upon viewing these substance abuse pictures that two such great artists could destroy what they could achieve artistically by allowing themselves to fall to such low levels. Indeed, it seemed that at one point, these two women were in a race to see who could destroy themselves first.

It is very important to publish these substance abuse pictures so that people can be aware of what drug abuse can do to you. But there are two important factors to remember when looking at substance abuse pictures of celebrities.

The first is that these people are no different from everyday people who become drug addicts. Drug addiction destroys the possibility of each addict’s potential to achieve the best that they can, whether they are stars or just ordinary people who are struggling to cope with life. The second thing to remember is that once a person becomes an addict, all they really care about is when and how they can next get their hands on their drug of choice and that as a result they don’t care how they look.

There is, however, one glaring difference to also take note of when looking at substance abuse pictures of celebrities. They often have the funds as well as access to the best rehabilitation facilities whereas your everyday person who has become addicted will probably have lost all they own to feed their habit and not be able to afford a rehabilitation centre.

It is very important for friends and family to become involved in assisting any loved ones they know of who are suffering with an addiction so that they do not wind up looking just like the people in the substance abuse pictures.

We will do whatever it takes ...

SCRC's approach is aimed at facilitating change from the culture of addiction to the culture of recovery.

This process will yield limited success when approached outside of a residential treatment facility particularly when detoxification is required. It is imperative that individuals entering treatment are given as much training and education as possible.
